Step 2- Be Still and Obey

We can begin to access this presence by opening His word and setting aside time to meet with Him. Hebrews 4:12 (ESV): “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” We must look for God at the beginning and end of each day and start seeing our lives through a new lens. We start doing this by being transparent with God’s word and using it as a mirror. This requires us to have an honest interaction with Him and trusting Him to complete in you the work He began.
